On 20 January 2023, Chanticleer International Book Awards announced the Long List for the HEARTEN Book Awards for Inspiring & Uplifting Non-Fiction. I am grateful that the screening readers decided that A Fraction Stronger made the cut from hundreds of entries world wide.
The HEARTEN Book Awards is a genre division of Chanticleer International Book Awards and Novel Competitions (CIBAs) which recognize emerging new talent and outstanding works in the genre of Uplifting & Inspiring Non-Fiction and Memoir.
There is still a long way to go, but it is exciting to have had enough YES votes to get out of the Slush Pile. And Long List does sound better than Slush Pile Survivor! :)
Winners will be announced 29 April 2023.
